SCHEME PERFORMANCE

SCHEME: GOVERNMENT SPECIAL SCHOOLS FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED / HEARING IMPAIRED AND MOBILITY-IMPAIRED STUDENTS


The aim of the scheme is to facilitate Special Education for Differently abled students.

The first chart plots the physical count of the target provided by the government against the physical achievement count for the past six years under this scheme. The second chart plots the financial target provided by the government against the financial achievement for the past six years under this scheme.



SCHEME: GOVERNMENT REGIONAL BRAILLE PRESS


The aim of the Scheme is to print and supply Braille books to visually impaired students studying in standards I to XII in Government Schools / Government aided schools.

SCHEME: SELF-EMPLOYMENT - MICRO ENTERPRISES AND BUNK STALLS


The scheme aims to improve the economic condition of the differently abled and make them self-sufficient under the self-employment scheme. The District Differently Abled Welfare Officers are arranging for loans from Nationalized Banks with a subsidy of Rs.25,000/- or 1/3 of the loan, whichever is less.

SCHEME: UNEMPLOYED YOUTH EMPLOYMENT GENERATION PROGRAMME


The aim of the Scheme is to motivate the unemployed differently-abled youth for starting self-employment ventures in Manufacturing Services and Business sectors under UYEGP, the margin amount of 5% of the loan
the amount which is due to be paid by the differently abled beneficiaries is borne by the Government.

SCHEME:ASSISTANCE FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF AAVIN PARLOUR BY DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERSONS


The scheme aims to create self employment avenues. Government have ordered for establishing Aavin Parlour for 200 differently abled persons to sell Aavin products. During the year 2019-2020 Rs.50 lakh has been sanctioned for payment towards deposit amount of Rs.50,000/- each
to be paid by the individuals to Aavin.
