Southern California private motorsports country club honored at Professional Motorsport World Expo in Cologne, Germany
Palm Desert, Calif. (November 15, 2017) – The Thermal Club today was honored with the prestigious 2017 Motorsport Facility of the Year award in a special presentation by members of international motorsport community at the Professional Motorsport World Expo in Cologne, Germany.
Announced at the PMW Expo Awards Dinner, the award was accepted by acclaimed designer Alan Wilson, who created the club’s four distinctive racing circuits.
The Thermal Club was selected by a judging panel comprised of motorsport journalists, motorsport publication editors, race track architects and professional racers. Additional circuits competing in the category included SpeedPark Ningbo (China), Martinsville (Virginia), Marina Bay GP Circuit (Singapore) and Circuito Internacional de Vila Real (Portugal).
The Thermal Club gives motorsport enthusiasts access to the best facilities, including their own custom designed luxurious Villas, exceptional dining and activities for all members of the family. No other race track or motorsports club offers as many amenities, from Thermal’s on-site tuning shop, to private garages, to the Clubhouse, and upcoming athletic center, spa and kids club.
